{"id":1124,"date":"2012-10-04T14:55:03","date_gmt":"2012-10-04T14:55:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/improve-research.eu\/?p=1124"},"modified":"2012-10-04T14:56:51","modified_gmt":"2012-10-04T14:56:51","slug":"new-improve-partner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hosting.uantwerpen.be\/improve\/?p=1124","title":{"rendered":"New ImPRovE partner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In June 2012 the research group\u00a0<a title=\"PSiTIC (Spain)\" href=\"https:\/\/hosting.uantwerpen.be\/improve\/?page_id=1049\" target=\"_blank\">PSiTIC<\/a> joined the ImPRovE Consortium as a voluntary partner for <a title=\"WP 13 \u2013 Reference budgets for social participation leading the way to a social inclusive society\" href=\"https:\/\/hosting.uantwerpen.be\/improve\/?page_id=174\" target=\"_blank\">work package 13<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>PSiTIC, Research Group of Social Pedagogy and Information and Communication Technologies is based at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blanquerna.url.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">Universitat Ramon Llull (Blanquerna)<\/a>\u00a0in Barcelona, Spain. With the contribution of PSiTIC, the ImPRovE Consortium will be able to develop cross-nationally comparable reference groups for a wider range of European countries, including &#8211; apart from Spain &#8211; Belgium, Finland Greece and Hungary. This is very useful, as one of the aims of this exercise is to find out to what extent cross-national differences in the economic and social situation impact upon the minimum level of economic resources that is deemed necessary for being able to fully participate in society. In other words, the more countries covered, the better.<\/p>\n<p>PSiTIC is the tenth research group that joins the ImPRovE Consortium.
